Heather Update

Heather saw the Maternal-Fetal specialist this Monday. The news was a little bit alarming. Her cervix shortened by 3.5 cms. That isn't good. I feel so sorry for Heather, bless her heart. The doctor put her on procardia to keep her from going in to labor. This is a medication that is usually used for cardiac issues. It makes Heather feel dizzy and tired. She is also on progesterone to maintain the pregnancy. And, finally, the doctor is going to put her on steroids to help the baby's lungs develop. She is now at 28 weeks and 2 days. She delivered Silas at 28 weeks, 4 days. We are all trying to give her as much encouragement as we can. I can see in her eyes that she is scared and I wish so much that I could take that fear away. Please keep Heather and the baby in your prayers.

Donny and Marie!!

Amber got Donny and Marie tickets for her birthday from her in-laws and she took me with her to see the show! It was awesome!! We were both so excited! Am is so cute, you wouldn't think that someone her age would be an Osmond fan, but she is. I think all of the years of listening to how much I love them just rubbed off on her!! It was a wonderful experience that Amber and I will always remember. Thanks so much Scott and Linda!

Happy 23rd Birthday Amber!

Happy Birthday Am! We love you!

Memories

When Randy and I went through my Mom's house I found that she had saved a skirt that my Step-Mom, Jean, had made for me when I was 16. I was touched when I found it, I carefully wrapped it up and took it home. Today I went to see my Dad and Mom. Mom's face lit up when she saw the skirt. She remembered it too. Thank you, Mom, for saving that skirt, and thanks to my wonderful Step-Mom for making it. This brought back some wonderful memories.

Our Nephew Aaron and his Girlfriend

I asked my sister-in-law, Nette, for a picture of our nephew, Aaron. He is so adorable. We haven't seen him for several years, but think of him often.

Si-Man- The Caped Crusader!

Okay, I know that Batman is the Caped Crusader, and Batman's cape is black. Si is a big Batman fan, but his Grandma only had red material--- so we improvised! Si spent the afternoon jumping off of the couch and saying "I can fly!!!"
